Well, this isn’t the first time I’ve discussed how much I love gold things and it certainly won’t be the last. I feel that it’s time to show you how anything can be spruced with a can of gold spray paint (or four).
See these stumps? They’re still sitting in my front yard…Just imagine them Gold dipped, stacked on each other OR in the backyard as seating!
Ok, next up is this little step-stool I spruced. ‘Nuff said.
Want to spruce up a rusty old tetanus trap? I found this huge candelabra for $1 or $2 and then got after it with my trusty old can of liquid gold.
Last but not least, I’ve been pining for these retro bar glasses ($38) and gold nesting tables ($58) at the local antique mall. Not bad pricing at ALL, but I’ve given myself a strict no-spending-on-myself policy. Let me know if any of you want them and I’ll ship ’em to you.
I’ve decided to start a gold-dipped Pinterest folder, so be sure to add me! ——>
SHOOT! Just realized I forgot to shoot a pic of an awesome gold pineapple lamp I found the other day for $5.99. I’ll see what I do about that…
So, I need some sort of vat in my garage of liquid gold (who doesn’t?). Part of the reason I love these gold projects is because it looks like gold lacquer. I’m just not sure gold spray paint is going to cut it 100% of the time. I’m going to work on my stumps and let you know how they turn out!
Time to find some PINTERESTING things! tee heee heeeee
